Marc Goldberg

Marc Goldberg is a technology advisor who has been successfully helping multi-million dollar companies improve productivity and performance within the technology sector for over 16 years. In his current roles as Advisor to renowned companies Epix and Tumblr, Mr. Goldberg uses his visionary leadership to offer scalable solutions that consistently deliver results.

Mr. Goldberg is highly sought after for his extensive knowledge of technology architecture, Internet applications, CDN management, integration and organization management, video delivery, as well as his ability to bring technology projects to very large scale.

Prior to consulting, Mr. Goldberg was CTO for Next New Networks, the leading publisher of original online television programming. He built the technology team from the ground up and guided the development and implementation of all advertising, operational, and corporate technology. This included hands-on development of their video content management system, integration of several CDN partners, integration of display and video advertising delivery platforms, automating syndication to partners and creation of reporting tools.

While at Gemstar-TV Guide, Inc., the leading provider of television guidance products, Mr. Goldberg was the Director of Web Services Engineering. He was hand- picked by the CTO to manage the redesign and launch of the next generation TV Guide portal. He used his extensive technology acumen to address scaling issues, CDN integration, and instituted development processes and life-cycle management.

In his time prior to joining Gemstar, Mr. Goldberg held several positions in the Technologies Division at AOL. He built and managed numerous talented teams and organizations, all of which were tasked with scaling AOL's proprietary architecture on big iron Unix servers or commodity Linux servers. One of Mr. Goldberg's most impressive feats involved leading his team's Web Proxy Infrastructure to enable 3 million simultaneously signed-in members to access 15 billion URLs per day.

Mr. Goldberg received his B.S. in Information Technology from American Intercontinental University. He is an engaging public speaker and active internet participant who enjoys biking, photography and amateur radio. Mr. Goldberg resides in New York City with his wife, Shannon.

Paul Blakey

Paul Blakey has been making his mark on the technology sector for over nine years. His extensive experience with graphical user interface design, along with his creativity, versatility and ability to be a team player, make him a natural fit for his current role as Chief Developer for Goldberg Technologies. Goldberg sought out Mr. Blakey because of his talent for software vetting and his comprehensive knowledge of architecture and development.

Prior to joining Goldberg, Mr. Blakey was the Lead Developer for Next New Networks, where he was responsible for the creation and construction of their Video CMS and distribution platforms. He met this challenging role head-on by building a template-driven page-rendering engine and enabling integration with more than 20 different partner services, including YouTube, Veoh and AOL.

Mr. Blakey, who until 2007 resided in the United Kingdom, spent six years at Thales Training and Simulation Ltd., a world-class supplier of civil aviation simulators, training equipment and quality training services. In his tenure at TTS, his focus was the development of user interfaces, as well as the testing and qualifying of core software through all stages of the product life cycle. This included initial design and specification through to quality assurance (troubleshooting and bug verification) and end user delivery. Mr. Blakey's disciplined strategy and penchant for being a hands-on problem solver resulted in a stunning enhancement of existing functionality for TTS.

In addition to being an innovative and forward-thinker, Mr. Blakey demonstrates expertise in w3c standards-compliant web page design. He is also fluent in a range of operating systems, computer languages, development tools, databases, methodologies and computer hardware.

Mr. Blakey is a graduate of the University of Northampton in England where he received his B.S. in Computer Science. He enjoys photography, video games and foreign travel. He currently resides in New York City with his wife Judy.
